The International Lesbian Gay Bi Trans Intersex Association (ILGA) conference is here in Wellington, NZ next week and the city is pulling out all the stops to ensure it goes well. Looking through the programme, we noticed there is only one 45 minute lesbian event during the official conference and it’s not lesbian-only. We don’t think that’s good enough, so we’ve decided to hold our own event.
We are calling it ‘ILGA but for lesbians’ where ILGA stands for International Lesbian Grassroots Assembly.
We are going to share a report with updates from lesbian feminists overseas, discuss local issues and talk about what we’d like to get up to with our new Wellington recreation group! The event starts at 2:30pm on Saturday 23 March and the numbers are limited.
Please contact us to register and we will send you a ticket.

We will go out to dinner somewhere close by after the event.
